Each year at the National Council Meeting the ESP Delegates elect a Second
Vice President who will serve a four year term.  During the term the Second Vice
President will rotate through the officer chairs serving as President-Elect, President
and Past President.  The region from which the individual must come is the region

2010 Epsilon Sigma Phi
Distinguished Ruby Winner Announced
Dr Freeman

Dr. Dorothy McCargo Freeman
State 4-H Leader and Associate Director
for the University of Minnesota Extension Center
for Youth Development

Dr. Freeman has provided leadership for Extension and the 4-H Program her entire career and she has emerged as a national leader. She has provided state and nationwide leadership to Extension professionals in reaching out to underserved, diverse youth audiences to get them engaged in the 4-H Program and to develop their own leadership skills. Dorothy’s enthusiasm and passion is for educating our young people and promoting positive rather than negative youth development. This is the corner stone of her professional career in Extension and 4-H and the leadership that she has given to further the program in Virginia, Minnesota, the North Central Region and across the nation.

Online Method for Enrolling New Members

New members can now be entered on the ESP Website.  The entry for new members is located at the
following link: NEW MEMBERS or by going to Memberhip and  Recruitement listed in the
More Information On menu in the left hand column on the front page of the website. The new member
entry information is the first item on the page.

When the new member information is entered the member entering the new member information will
receive a confirmation email that the information was received by the National Office.  The National Office
will then prepare the new member certificates and send them to the membership chair from the state
making the submission.

Hopefully the new system will be easier for the chapter membership chairs and will help insure that we
don't miss getting new member certificates to our new members.  If you need help-contact the
National Office at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by calling 208-736-4495.
